Health Fairs Starting

Gunnison Valley Health will once again sponsor community health fairs in Crested Butte and Gunnison in 2012.
Each year Gunnison Valley Health provides low-cost blood tests and complimentary screenings (Such as blood pressure, body mass index and bone density) as part of the Wellness Fairs. The goal is to provide community members with information that will help improve general health status and identify conditions that may require the attention of a physician. The health fairs are conducted in association with Community Banks of Colorado.
Early blood draws in Crested Butte will be held on Thursday, January 26 and Friday, January 27 from 6:30 to 9 a.m. at the Queen of All Saints Parish Hall. Walk-ins the day of early blood draws are welcome, but there is no guarantee regarding wait times.
The Crested Butte Wellness Fair will be held on Saturday, February 11 between 7 and 11:30 a.m. at Mountaineer Square in Mt. Crested Butte. Mountain Express will run early busses from town to CBMR for Wellness Fair participants; the first bus will depart the Old Town Hall at 6:40 a.m. on Febrary 11.
Early blood draws in Gunnison will take place Tuesday, April 10 through Friday, April 13 from 6:30 to 9 a.m. in the Aspinall-Wilson Center at Western State College. Registration for Gunnion early blood draws will open on March 1.
The Gunnison Wellness Fair will be held on Saturday, April 28 between 6:30 and 11:30 a.m. in the Fred Field Building at the County Fairgrounds.
