Garden of Remembrance

The vision of the Garden of Remembrance began with two families, Gary & Sandy Nearpass and Joyce Price. They each have a great passion for Hospice & Palliative Care with its philosophy of supporting families with the personal care needed while dealing with a life threatening illness and focusing on bereavement assistance afterwards. Gary, Sandy & Joyce provided the seed money to begin developing the garden and the community responded with additional donations, both financial and in-kind, to make the garden the beautiful place for meditation it is today.


The Garden is located just north of the Senior Care Center entrance and south of the WIllows Assisted Living facility. It was officially dedicated July 7, 2006.

Bricks are available for purchase for $100 each, including personalized engraving. The engraved brick is wodnerful way to express a lasting remembrance to a family member or friend.
