program is designed to make radiology services more affordable and transparent
for patients without insurance, with limited coverage, or with high-deductible plans.
Cash-Pay Pricing Information
Our rates include
both the hospital charge and the radiologist’s professional fee, so you know exactly what you’re paying for upfront.
Please Note:
MR Arthrograms: GVH does not offer cash-pay pricing for MR Arthrograms. An MR Arthrogram
(arthrogram combined with an MRI) involves injecting contrast dye directly
into the joint space, whereas an MRI with contrast involves injecting
contrast into a vein. For questions, clarification, or a quote for an
MR Arthrogram, please contact the Radiology Department at

X-Rays: X-rays are not included in the cash-pay pricing program. Their cost is
generally low and remains the same whether billed through insurance or

Gunnison Valley Health Outpatient Cash Rate
MRI without contrast (per body part): $700.00
MRI with contrast (per body part): $1,100.00
MRI with & without contrast (per body part): $1,500.00
CT without contrast (per body part): $600.00
CT with contrast (per body part): $900.00
CT with & without contrast (per body part): $1,400.00
Complete Echocardiogram (ECHO): $550.00
Ultrasound: $400.00
For imaging of additional body parts, multiply the rate by the number of
body parts.
Example: A CT with contrast of the chest and pelvis (two body parts) is $900 x
2 = $1,800.
How It Works
Doctor’s Order Required: A physician’s order is needed for
all MRI, CT scans, ultrasounds or echocardiograms.
Payment Process: Full payment is due upfront by cash, check or credit/debit card.
No Surprise Bills: Once payment is made, no additional billing will occur.
