High Peaks Employee Club at Gunnison Valley Health
The High Peaks Club is an employee-run philanthropic group of GVH employees
dedicated to promoting community spirit among the GVH staff and throughout
the Gunnison Valley Community. The club is a voluntary program that is
funded through employee donations from their paychecks.
The employee members of the High Peaks Club work to promote and conduct
activities that give back to the GVH family and broader Gunnison Valley
community. In addition to promoting the efforts of the High Peaks Club,
they strive to be mindful stewards of the philanthropic funding they receive.
Some of the recent efforts by the High Peaks Employee Club include:
- Holiday Adopt-a-Family (6 families were adopted in 2016 with over $6,000
in gift cards distributed)
- Ongoing canned food collection for local food banks
- Financial support for ongoing monthly yoga sessions for GVH employees throughout 2017
Funding is distributed to families in need, employee recognition efforts,
and other activities the club deems appropriate to meet the mission of
High Peaks. If you are an employee of Gunnison Valley Health and are interested

If you would like to anonymously submit a funding request to the High Peaks
Club, please fill out the form below.
All requests will be considered by the High Peaks committee and handled
anonymously through the Human Resources department. The High Peaks committee
will not know the identity of any employee making a request.
