Gunnison Valley Health hosts community pumpkin patch
Don’t let the end of summer get you down! Shorter days and cooler
weather means fall is here. And what better way to welcome the autumn
than with a community pumpkin patch? On Saturday, October 1 from 11 a.m.
– 2 p.m. Gunnison Valley Health invites the community to come together
to celebrate fall at the first ever community pumpkin patch. Located at
the north main entrance to the hospital, this free event features live
music from the Drew Murdza trio as well as Alan and Issa. There will be
free apple cider and pumpkin cupcakes, a bouncy house, facepainting, balloon
animals, food vendors and, of course, a free pumpkin patch. There will
also be games for kids and adults (cornhole tournament, anyone?) as well
as educational events at the GVH Labyrinth of Life. This event is open
to the entire community. Put on your best sweater, sip hot cider from
your favorite mug, and enjoy the crisp breeze on your face-don’t
mourn summer, celebrate fall! For more information about Gunnison Valley
Health’s community pumpkin patch, call 642-8416.
