It’s no secret the Gunnison Valley loves bikes. From mountain to
road, fixies to fatties, and townies to tandems, if it happens on two
wheels, it probably happens here. With that in mind, Gunnison Valley Health
is excited to host BikeLife: A Community Bike Party on Thursday, May 18
from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the North Entrance to the hospital.
BikeLife will feature live music, a Strider race, information on bike fitting
and maintenance, skills courses, burgers and brats, and much more. Whether
you come just to watch the festivities and play a game of cornhole or
you join some local pros for a group ride, there is plenty to do for all
ages and every skill level.
Representatives from Double Shot Cyclery, Tomichi Cycles, Gunnison Trails,
the Gunnison High School Mountain Team, and others will be on hand.
There will also be members of the Gunnison Valley Health Rehab and Athletic
Medicine team on hand providing movement screenings as well as information
on concussions, helmet fitting, pelvic floor health, body mechanics, and more.
The event is completely free and open to everyone in the community. Come
out and welcome the arrival of the summer and bike season at Gunnison
Valley Health’s BikeLife. For more information contact Tyler at
