About Sam
Sam Elzay earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wyoming and followed a non-traditional path to becoming a physician assistant. After several years working as a National Park Service ranger, ski patrolman, and river guide, Sam attended Campbell University in North Carolina, where he completed a dual-degree MSPH/MPAP program.
Sam has provided care for both metropolitan and rural communities. Originally from Wyoming, he is excited to be back in the mountains and enjoying small-town life again. With a background in orthopedics, Sam is passionate about helping patients stay active and healthy. He performs a wide range of in-clinic procedures and enjoys working closely with patients to support their goals.
Outside of work, Sam loves spending time with his spouse and three children. You’ll often find them exploring local trails, skiing, fishing, and visiting area parks, the library, or the recreation center.
