About Sami
Sami received her master’s degree in counseling from Southern Oregon University in 2022. She spent her first years in practice serving local communities in Ashland, Oregon and then Gunnison County, where she opened a private practice with adults and adolescents. Sami has diverse experience as a clinician, with expertise in treating issues connected to self-esteem, career development, trauma and loss, and life changes and transitions. She brings a family systems approach to her work, recognizing the complexity in our individual lives. As a school-based clinician, Sami is committed to being a point of strength for her clients and families, believing that people are resourceful and capable of more than they know. In her free time, she enjoys any day spent outside with her friends or family, anywhere from the ocean to the mountains.
