You can search by procedure name or code (CPT/HCPCS) and select your insurance
plan to see the price that applies to you. The tool includes our “shoppable
services” — common services you can plan for in advance —
along with our full list of standard charges.

Why you may receive more than one bill
Many hospital services involve more than one type of charge. Depending
on the care you receive, you may see:
A facility (hospital) charge — covers the use of the hospital — including nursing, supplies,
equipment, the procedure or operating room, and recovery time.
A professional (provider) charge — covers the physician or other provider who performs your procedure
or interprets your results.
Some procedures also include additional services that may be billed separately, such as:
Anesthesia
Pathology — analysis of tissue or specimens, for example after a biopsy
Radiology interpretation — a physician reading your images
Laboratory tests
Medications, injectable drugs, contrast, implants, or devices used during your care
Asking about these when you request an estimate helps us give you the most
complete picture of your expected cost.
Please remember
The prices and estimates provided are based on the information available
and are not a guarantee of your final cost. Your actual charges depend
on the care actually provided — including the complexity of your
condition, the length of your care, the services and supplies you receive,
and any additional tests or procedures your provider orders. If you have
insurance, your plan’s benefits (deductible, copay, coinsurance,
and out-of-pocket maximum) will ultimately determine what you owe. We
strongly encourage insured patients to contact their insurance company
to confirm coverage and out-of-pocket responsibility.
If you need help paying
Gunnison Valley Health offers financial assistance to eligible patients
who are uninsured, underinsured, or would experience hardship paying their
bill, including Colorado Hospital Discounted Care (HDC).
If you are uninsured or self-pay, you have the right to receive a Good
Faith Estimate of expected charges before scheduled care. You are also
protected from certain surprise bills for emergency care and from balance
billing by out-of-network providers at in-network facilities. To learn
