Training and Advancement Opportunities
At Gunnison Valley Health, we value individuals who want to grow their skills and expertise. We offer a tuition reimbursement plan for employees who are interested in expanding their education. We also offer a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) training program that includes three weeks of paid training for candidates who want to start a career in nursing.
Shadowing and Observation
Gunnison Valley Health may accept individuals to observe or shadow the daily routines of healthcare workers to help participants begin to identify career interests in healthcare and gain awareness of the academic, technical, and personal skills required in healthcare professions. These shadowing experiences are solely an observation experience. Patient care is not permitted and therefore the shadowing time will not qualify as clinical experience.
