Our Services

New Ophthalmology services starting May 17.

Gunnison Valley Health is excited to introduce Ophthalmology services to our Valley.

We provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages. Our Ophthalmologists, who are medical doctors, can diagnose, treat and perform surgical procedures on a range of eye related conditions including:

  • Autoimmune diseases
  • Dry eye
  • Glaucoma
  • Diabetic eye disease
  • Macular degeneration
  • Cataracts

Our doctors can even diagnose eye melanoma and brain tumors before they become an issue.

Regular eye exams are an invaluable tool in maintaining your eyes’ health by detecting and preventing disease. Some diseases develop slowly without causing pain or vision loss. Early detection of any problems can reduce the risk of further harm and allow for a choice of treatment options.

Our services include:

  • Complete eye medical exams weekly on a Thursday, except the fourth week of the month is on a Tuesday
  • Cataract surgery once a month
