Gunnison Valley Health Will Offer Pediatrics in Crested Butte Beginning January 5, 2023

Gunnison Valley Health has announced that it is expanding outpatient services in the North end of the valley by providing pediatric services in Crested Butte. Pediatrician, Dr. Amanda Hill, will see her first patients at the new Crested Butte clinic, located adjacent to the four-way on January 5, 2023. Dr. Hill is a board-certified pediatrician and is a part of the Gunnison Valley Health’s Family Medicine Clinic.

Gunnison Valley Health CEO, Jason Amrich, reaffirmed his commitment to looking for opportunities to provide local, convenient care for families in Crested Butte.

“As a parent myself, I know how important it is to have access to medical care for your children, for both routine care and when they experience injury or illness,” Amrich said. “This weekly pediatrics clinic is the first step in a greater vision to ensure that our North valley residents have what they need to keep their family healthy – no matter what part of the County you call home.”

Gunnison Valley Health’s new Crested Butte clinic space is located at 305 6th Street and Dr. Hill’s pediatric clinic will occur every Thursday beginning on January 5. She will provide full spectrum pediatric primary care.

“I am thrilled to have this opportunity to more effectively provide care for families living in Crested Butte and hope to see new patients for whom the drive to Gunnison was a barrier,” Dr. Hill said. “Access to appropriate primary care is critical for children’s development and overall health. We want to do everything possible to support the youth of the Gunnison Valley to thrive.”
